Anyway, I'm saving up for them, but until I get them, I spent the weekend crocheting these for myself.
I followed a pattern I found at Momma's Little Monkeys. As she says on the post, it is a pattern in progress, I made several row and width changes to fit my feet, but it was still so easy to follow! They do look more professional with real shoe laces, but I didn't have any and was just too eager to wear them.
I just used red heart yarn I had leftover from other projects (absolutely loving that I had them in red). And yes, they make great tile ice skates!
