Last weekend, Mr. Curly and I visited our local Wesleyan church and joined in their worship. The pastor was discussing the 7 spiritual gifts listed in Romans 12:4-8.
He had us take this quick spiritual gift assessment that I wanted to share with you. Click here to view and take the spiritual gift assessment. We took only 5 minutes to complete this, but I do believe it may require more thought than that.
Once you've completed the assessment, total up how many times you circled each number. Here are the gifts that correspond with each number:
1. Prophecy
2. Service
3. Teaching
4. Encouragement
5. Giving
6. Leadership
7. Mercy

I enjoyed how the pastor pointed out that these spiritual gifts are your motivation for LIFE. Not just in your walk with God, but how you see all things, the angle from which you approach problems. It really opened my eyes to some of the conversations I've been having lately. I'm praying that God will help me recognize other's spiritual gifts, so I will understand where they are coming from, and be able to have better relationships with those people.
