While he and his flimsy fish-folk celebrate....

Friday we had Curly Girl's birthday party.  In keeping with the four year old girl obsession, we had a princess tea party.

And it was fabulous.

Curly Girl wore a pink princess dress my mother made her and looked beautiful!

4 little girls, aging from 1-4, joined us for pb and honey (or jelly, depending on their choice) sandwhiches served on a silver tray.  After lots of running around and squealing, we served fancy cupcakes.  A lot more squealing, and then gifts.

I missed most of the gift time, due to changing Curly Boy's diaper, but she recieved some wonderful gifts from her friends.

The girls were great at letting Curly Boy join them in the fun.

The adults ate a Subway Party sub and chips, chatted and generally had a good time.

The only sad thing is, besides the fact that my little girl is now FOUR, we didn't get a picture with her.  But that happens, and she'll be a princess for halloween, so maybe we can get a picture then.
